Mie Ken “Brazil Mission 2013”

 

In november, 2011 at the Mie Kenjinkai in Sao Paulo, Brazil. was the 1st meeting for the celebration of the centenary of immigration residents of Mie Prefecture and 40 Years of Sisterhood Agreement between the State of Sao Paulo and Mie Prefecture. The president of the NPO Aidensha, Mrs. Sakamoto, was visiting Sao Paulo to attend an International Symposium “CIATE” (Centre of Information and Support for Alien Worker), she met with the President of the Mie Kenjinkai, Mr. Nelson Maeda and his associates. In this meeting was requested that she mediate with the governor of Mie Prefecture and provincial authorities to participate in the events of the commemoration ceremony in 2013 in São Paulo. Returning to Mie Prefecture, it started to spread the strong and warm feeling of Brazilians.
